Mayfair bar launches £220 cocktail

The Revery bar calls the drink the Maven of Mayfair.

A bar in London's affluent Mayfair has added a new cocktail to its menu that will set guests back £220 per glass.

The Revery bar, housed inside the London Hilton hotel on Park Lane, calls the drink the Maven of Mayfair.

It features an blend of Clase Azul with Grand Marnier. Lillet Rose adds a touch of floral notes, while Italicus infuses a hint of citrus and botanicals. The Maven of Mayfair then incorporates Dom Perignon Rose and the final touch comes in the form of edible gold, sprinkled into the drink.

The name Maven means connoisseur, with the bar business saying that the truly discerning will recognise the cocktail’s superlative ingredients and understand why only a Baccarat crystal flute can be deemed worthy of its status.
