Inception takes Borough Market lease

Inception Group has confirmed the assignment of its latest London site in Borough Yards.

Located at 20 Stoney Street, the venue is situated in the heart of the well-known Borough Market and will become number 15 for the Charlie Gilkes-led group.

The Borough site, the name and concept of which is yet to be announced, will join existing venues in Inception's portfolio, such as Mr Fogg’s, Bunga Bunga, Cahoots and Control Room B at London’s Battersea Power Station.

"We are so excited to have signed the lease to this amazing, characterful site situated within an old railway arch," says Gilkes (pictured above left with co-founder Duncan Stirling). "It's located at the heart of Borough Market and we have exciting plans for a very original bar concept in this world famous destination."

Inception Group’s proposed concept and name for 20 Stoney Street will be announced later in the year.

The news comes just one month after the business secured a further £6.7m loan in order to facilitate further growth within London.
