State of Play Hospitality eyes up franchise expansion

The Bounce and Hijingo operator has partnered with Seeds Consulting to further grow the concepts.

Seeds Consulting has announced a collaboration with international social entertainment operator, State of Play Hospitality.

State of Play owns and operates Bounce and Hijingo, and operates Flight Club in North America under licence. Since launching Bounce in 2012, the group has gone on to create and launch several other technology-led entertainment concepts.

The operator is now seeking to grow the footprint of Hijingo and Bounce through franchising, engaging with other experienced operations to spearhead the business's national and international expansion.

Both Bounce and Hijingo are suitable for city centres, tourist hotspots, local high streets or shopping malls. Bounce appeals to a wide target audience from families to young professionals and team socials, while Hijingo is the perfect place for adults to celebrate any occasion with a large group or on a date night, and similarly appeals to the ul+mate work night out or private hire.

'Universal appeal'

State of Play’s chief commercial officer Nicola Blackford says: "Having garnered immense love and loyalty from guests across our London venues over many years, we are confident in the universal appeal of Hijingo and Bounce, both nationally and internationally. We have spent many years honing both concepts, and their operating models, and believe the time is right to expand their footprints. We eagerly anticipate engaging with and supporting new partners to introduce these world-class brands to new markets."
