Albert's Schloss London opening date announced

The brand is preparing to launch its fourth outpost in the capital, bringing its day-to-night offering to London’s West End.

A popular Bavarian bar brand is preparing to land in the heart of London this summer.

Albert's Schloss, owned and operated by Mission Mars, is getting set to launch its fourth venue in the capital, this time bringing its Alpine theme, cabarets and Bavarian beers to the city's West End. Having launched in Manchester in 2015, Albert's Schloss also has branches in Liverpool and Birmingham

Following a £7m investment, Albert's Schloss will open its doors in the iconic Trocadero on Shaftesbury Avenue on 5 July. The venue will feature an Alpine-inspired beer hall, five bars, a restaurant, an on-site bakery and a live entertainment space, open seven days a week.

Set over two floors, the 18,000sq ft room will have capacity for over 600 guests, with the new London site set to be the brand's biggest yet.

Bier Palace and the 'Big Six'

Known for its beer credentials, Albert's Schloss will offer Londoners a selection of quality Bohemian and Bavarian beers. Polished copper tanks will adorn the main bar, offering fresh, unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell, delivered from the brewery in Pilsen each week. Guests can even 'Push for Pilsner' using special table buttons to order fresh pints.

Central to its beer menu, Schloss will offer Munich's 'Big Six' – a classic line-up of the biggest and most popular beers from the Bavarian capital, including Hacker-Pschorr, Paulaner, Hodbräu, Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu and an entire section reserved for Munich's oldest brewery, Augustiner (1328), served by specially trained staff. A cocktail and spritz menu will also be offered.
