Following its debut hotel DogHouse Manchester, BrewDog is opening BrewDog DogHouse Edinburgh this weekend (3 and 4 December).
Located at 5 New Street, the C-listed red sandstone Canongate venture building is one of Edinburgh’s last remaining ‘School Board’ designs of the late-Victorian era. DogHouse Edinburgh features 20 sustainable, multi-level apartment-style hotel rooms.
As well as in-shower beer fridges, draught beer taps and a mini bar, every room also has also a guitar, smart TV and record player with curated vinyl collections.
The venue features two bars, each pouring from 30 taps of craft beer. There is also an additional outdoor terrace bar featuring fire pits.
“Edinburgh has always been close to our hearts, and 10 years ago, when we opened our first bar there, we knew it was going to be the start of something special," says James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog. "We’re excited to bring a BrewDog DogHouse Hotel to one of the most passionate beer cities in the UK."
