Cottons restaurant group to launch new bar

Sip N Tell, the latest venture from the team behind the Caribbean restaurant group Cottons, is set to open its doors next month in London's Old Street.

Occupying the former Frog by AH coffee shop, Sip N Tell will offer a twist on the tiki bar experience, providing classic cocktails with unusual flavours and ingredients. 

The creative minds behind the new drinks venue are head of bars at Cottons Nico Beradi and Michael Hilton, with backgrounds at establishments like Calloh Callay and Murder Inc.

Bridging the gap between a pre-dinner drink destination and a vibrant cocktail bar, the owners say Sip N Tell will offer an 'escape from the mundane' and an invitation to indulge. 

The menu will champion homegrown brands alongside local spirits and a selection of English sparkling wines. 

Signature cocktails include The Floor is Guava (pictured) – a light aperitivo featuring the fragrance of pink guava and umeshu, lifted by makrut lime leaf and lemongrass. Another standout is Instagram Famous – a twist on the classic Naked Famous, combining smoky mezcal, young Jamaican rum, and a pineapple cordial.
